INSTITUTE TODAY
The
Institute is a scientific-research institution in the area of
sound, hearing, speech and language which cherishes
multidisciplinary approach in research work and holistic
approach in expert work conducted through integrative
treatments.
Results
of scientific-research work are used for development and
promotion of KSAFA system (Kostic’s Selective Auditory Filter
Amplification) of early detection, diagnostics and treatment of
children with impaired hearing, disorders of speech and language
development, speech and language pathology, and behaviour and
learning disorders.
The
Institute uses certain results of its scientific-research work
for the promotion of culture of speech and language
preservation.
Institute’s scientific activities are carried out in the
phonetic, linguistic and electroacoustic laboratory. Polyclinic
work is carried out in the Counseling office, audiology section
and polyclinic sections. Activities regarding the promotion of
the culture of speech are carried out in the School of Speech.
All
Institute’s activities are carried out by multidisciplinary
teams of scientific and expert staff. |
